Love Stays Forever

Nice and bright morning in Chamba. A young guy just reached and asks for direction to the home of Doc R. Mathur. Doc wakes up with a knock on his door. He welcomes the guys inside.

The Guy:

Name: Puneet Rao.

Profession: Howard Physiologist HOD

He asks him to get ready for a visit to the patient for his case study he came here. They head for the house of Lilly. On the way Doc gave him the introduction of Lilly and her rare disease.

Lilly:

Age: 29 years.

Past: Ex-Student of Psychology.

Problem: Cotard's Syndrome or Walking Corpse Syndrome. MEDICALLY HER BRAIN IS NOT WORKING AS NORMAL HUMAN BEING but she is not behaving abnormally. She just keeps pushing that she is dead and asked every one to bury her.

Since: Met with a car accident at 22 and after 22 months coma.

Treatment: Regular Physiological sessions with anti depression medicine and some time electric shock treatment.

Other: Father Abrahim visits every Saturday for the moral support of Lilly and her family.

Side-effects: She tried many times to bury herself alive. So has family member keep her under supervision.

Doctor R. Mathur tried many things, discussed this case many doctors but there is no permanent solution of this disease. He himself tried many research but unsuccessful results. Mr. D’Costa also got 1 Daughter “Martha” and 1 son “Robin”. Martha got married and Robin studying MBA at Bangalore. Lilly’s mom Mrs. D’Costa was Principle but after the accident she had to leave her job. Since then she loves her daughter more then anything in this world.

The days are passing and hopes are dieing slowly. Mr. D’Costa can’t concentrate on his furniture business and he still believes that some miracle will work for his daughter.

Dr. Mathur finally one day tells that there is no hope for recovery of her. If they want he can arrange some place in international hospital. They will keep Lilly always in sleep for the research purpose till her body dies. Mr. & Mrs. D’Costa never would have not agreed on that before but no the time is changing and they are growing old. They agreed with Doc and asked him to make the arrangement.

As they reach the destination, Doc introduces Puneet to the Mr. Mrs. D’Costa and told them that he came from University of Howard “Psychological” division. He will document about Lilly and after the submission of his Report, University will take decision on Lilly.

Puneet ask to meet Lilly, Mrs. D’Costa guides him to Lilly’s room. As they enter the room Puneet stuck for some time.

6 Years Back

College gate reads “Indian University of Psychologies”, Puneet enters the college gate and directly heads for Practical room as he is late as always. As he reaches the class gate he took a sigh of relief as Professor is not there. He enters the practical room and finds that two Green Eyes are waiting for him.

He slowly approaches the Green Eye girl and appologise for the late. The girl is Lilly.

They were the student of second year Physiology and also in love. They were the best couple of the college and every one praises them because they were in love but also competitors for each other.

After second year Puneet and Lilly first time going away for there first holiday. Lilly’s dad sent a car for her and Puneet stays at Hyderabad, so Lilly first dropped Puneet at railway station and then she left for her hometown.

After that day there was no communication from Lilly’s side. Puneet went to Lilly's home town Dehradun in search of her. He found the furniture shop of Lilly's father but got information that they sold all there properties of Chamba and shifted to Lilly's Grandfathers place. The neighbors also told Lilly met with accident and she was in coma and they moved after the 7 days of accident. Puneet wasted one year to search Lilly but he can't found them. One day Puneet got an old note in which they promised to each other that if any thing happens in the middle of the course, one should continue with his/her life as thinking that they are still together. So that note gave a push to Puneet.

Present Day
Puneet slowly approaches to Lilly and sits near her. He just mesmerized with her beauty and one drop of tear roll down. Mrs. D’Costa asked do they know each other. Puneet tells complete story. Mrs. D’Costa recalled that day Lilly was very happy as she is coming for holiday after 2 years and she wants to tell something special.

Puneet asks Doc. Mathur to show all documents regarding the case. Same moment Lilly wakes up and she was also shock to see Puneet. She started crying and started saying that you finally came to see me. Puneet got shock of his life that as per the report her memory partition is dead so how can she remember him?

He asked Lilly to come with him for the further tests and medication for her current situation but she denies leaving her parents and family. As days pass by the pressure from the university increases on Puneet. They started asking Puneet to leave her and join the university as soon as possible. After a long night of thinkhing, Puneet finally calls University and tell them that he is not coming back. Puneet starts doing research on Lilly’s brain and looking for some cure. During all these test he comes to an strange discovery that when she is sleeping still she can hear every single word and she keeps it remember.

On the process of research when he was reading about the different cases he comes to know about Dr. Nidhi Bose. She is also a Psychiatrist and managed to recover a patient of same disorder to till 90% cure. Puneet decided to contact Dr. Nidhi Bose.

Dr. Nidhi Bose.

Age: 28

Background: From Indian University of Psychologies

As soon as Nidhi comes to know about Lilly, she leaves for Chamba. Puneet reaches station to receive Dr. Nidhi and Dr. Nidhi introduces her as Junior of Puneet from same institute. She also recognizes Lilly as Puneet’s girl friend. As both of them starts working on Lilly’s case, they slowly come to know that they can recover Lilly from this disorder but she may loose some part of her memory.

D’Costa family asks what kind of memory she will loose like will she become small child or what. Both of them where not sure which part of memory will loose but this will work for sure. Family finally says yes for the final try for the recovery.

Nidhi and Puneet finally completed the medicine and with the help of Doc. Mathur they were ready for the final injection on the brain dead memory. They push the injection and waits.

Next day morning Lilly opens her eyes. Dr. Nidhi and D’costa family celebrates that Lilly is alright but she lost some memory and that's the memory of College and PUNEET.

Puneet was getting ready to leave Chamba and Dr. Nidhi asks him why he don’t stays back with Lilly as their family is ready to accept you as there son-in-law. Puneet says he was here because he can see love for him in the eye of Lilly and that’s gone now. Mr. D’Costa tried one more time but Puneet told that he will be in touch and getting ready for catch train. Dr. Nidhi is staying back because she has to check Lilly’s progress. Train leaves the station and Mrs. D’Costa ask every one to go ahead as she has to go with Nidhi to her room for some chitchat. On the way towards lodge Mrs. D’Costa: "Nidhi, why you let Puneet go?"

Nidhi:- "What you mean Aunty?"

Mrs. D'Costa:- "I have felt your love for Puneet in your eyes."

Nidhi:- "Puneet left Lilly to be happy as he can’t see love for him on her eyes and same thing I can have Puneet but not his Pure Love; But Auntyji Love Stays Forever…."
